Slapdee, Macky 2 & Towela Kaira gets nominated for this year’s AFRIMMA which happens to be a big list of the prestigious African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) has been released by the organizers. After a two-year period of virtual shows due to the impact of the pandemic, AFRIMMA Awards are set to return with an in-person ceremony on the 19th of November at the Gilley’s Event Center in Dallas, Texas.

3 of Zambia’s own greatest musical acts Slapdee, Macky 2 & Towela Kaira have been shortlisted for the nominees of this year’s edition. The sensational songbird Towela Kaira has been nominated in the category of “Best Female Southern Africa” alongside DBN Gogo (South Africa), Ammara Brown (Zimbabwe), Mpho Sebina ( Botswana), Msaki ( South Africa), Gemma Griffiths (Zimbabwe), Makhadzi (South Africa) and Shekinah ( South Africa).

The alpha entertainments king Macky 2 and Slap Dee are both in the “Best Male Southern Africa” up against Mark Exdous (Mozambique), Edgar Muzah (Zimbabwe) and Focalistic, Dlala Thuzkin, Zakes Bantwini, Master KG (all from South Africa).
