    Pamela’s Abduction Case Growing Cold

THE abduction case of Lusaka mobile money agent Pamela Chisupa is slowly moving towards the dusty shelf of police cold cases.
The 22-year-old remains missing three weeks after a video apparently released by her abductors in which she, while being flogged, pleaded that a ransom be paid for her life to be spared, went viral on social media.

Over a week ago, Minister of Home Affairs Jack Mwimbu announced that eight people had been arrested in connection with the abduction but to date Pamela has not been found and no one has been charged for her abduction.
Police spokesperson Rae Hamoonga told #Kalemba yesterday that investigations were still ongoing.
According to police, Pamela was last seen on April 13, 2022 crossing Cairo Road in the Lusaka Central Business District (CBD) from Shoprite trading area in the company of two males who had gone to her mobile money booth as customers.
Pamela was reported missing by her sister on April 16, 2022.
